PATTERN NOTES

Pattern contains two pocket variations. Follow instructions carefully and make all markings. The back pattern piece has a 1 inch seam allowance at center back for any needed adjustments or if a closure is desired. A closure is not necessary so no markings were made for adding a closure, but it is optional at your own discretion. Facings may also be ommitted if a lining is added in replacement or if binding the edges. Press and finish seams between steps. 1/2 inch seam allowance unless otherwise noted. Estimated Fabric Needed: 2.5-3 yards (depending on fabric width). 1/4” Elastic optional for sleeve hem, length needed would be dependant on individuals bicep circumference.

OTHER NOTES

I made my custom woven tags through Dutch Label Shop. I made two different versions, black text and white background and silver glitter thread for the text with a black background, which was vintage inspired. I was very impressed with the quality and the communication and assistance they provided since it was my first time ordering clothing labels.

For my pattern paper, I actually use the stuff that they put on the tables you sit on when you go to the doctor, you can find it on Amazon. You’ll have to print it on regular paper first and then trace it onto wide paper, if you want of course.
